Hi, my name is Megan, the girl behind the t-shirts! I grew up on five acres in Central Oregon where I raised chickens and turkeys and dreamed of the day I’d grow up to have a homestead of my own. I’ve always loved grandma hobbies such as quilting and baking. And used to even sew a lot of my own clothes! Creativity and design have always been something I enjoyed.
In college I met and married my husband and we moved out to Eastern Oregon, where he was from. While I grew up in a small town in Central Oregon it had since grown and changed, and I was happy to move east and once again be living the small-town life in Oregon once again. With my husband working multiple jobs and ranching on weekends, I decided to start making t-shirts to have an outlet for my entrepreneurial and creative spirit.
Combining my love for the rural small-town ranching lifestyle into t-shirts that I get to design and make for other women has been such a joy. I love that I get to capture the small-town rural lifestyle for other women to feel seen with the clothes they wear.This journey the past several years has been a wild ride and I have met so many amazing people in Eastern Oregon and got the opportunity to sell my shirts at some fantastic events. In the summer you can find the Prairie City Apparel booth at many fairs and rodeos in Eastern Oregon. If you see us make sure you stop in and say hi!

Living in rural America in a remote part of Oregon has it’s unique challenges, but I wouldn’t trade the life we live out here and getting to raise our sons in a small-town.
